I watered this guy a few days ago — a few tbsp, enough to drain through the bottom — and he still looks thirsty. Doesn’t look close to splitting so I’m clueless at this point.
6ish hours of California sunshine, and planted in a succulent potting mix (mostly redwood bark, perlite, and pumice).

It does look awfully wrinkly to not be farther along with splitting in your degree of heat. I might be worried about the state of the roots (enough to inspect).
