This pine tree has a bend at the base, any ideas why?

    Something was growing over it in the past, it grew around it then whatever it was ended up being removed. Perfectly normal and healthy

    Being a normal tree. Id say more trees lean then dont lean. Nothing to worry about. If that post is attached to it it needs to be removed. And the root flare needs exposure. And mulch around it would be nice

    Trees lean when they live in the elements. I have a Bradford pear that leans towards the north because we have winds from the south almost on a daily basis. It’s normal. Take a look at trees that live near the coast that hardly ever don’t lean.

    It wants to be lumber for home Depot when it grows up and it’s practicing it’s bends and warps!
