Thorn armor gloves are what I use. But to each their own! I hope your hands stays glochid free 🤗

Tiny cactus needles, as in glochids? Dedicated “cactus only” kitchen tongs will make your life way easier.

I just use tongs for opuntia. Bare hand or leather gloves for short spines, canvas sling for long spines.

Unless it’s opuntia, I’m just bare-handing anything with large spines (I find the little ones more sharp and pokey) that is light enough to hold without the weight of it making them impale my hands.

I just wrap it in cardboard or use foam.

Genius!!!!! I’m doing that when I get home. I had a monstrous Peruvian Apple tear me up last week through cut level 3 gloves
