The succulent has been doing alright, but started developing this growth a few months ago. Whatever it is, it has not been stopping the plants growth as the aloe has shot up a successful pup. Does anyone have a diagnosis for what this is? The plant got indirect to low light for 12 months and has since gotten more of a mix of indirect and direct. The plant has also gotten a consistent water regiment of about every 4-5 weeks.

A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

Those are galls from aloe mites. Get rid of it if you have other succulents.
Please put it in the trash. It spreads.
