Alan Titchmarsh issued his followers an exciting update as he warned that they don’t want to “miss this” ahead of his exciting new venture. He shared the news that his new garden series is starting now, while showing off the garden that he’ll be working on transforming over the next year. As he shared a video of him walking through the garden of a cute little cottage with a thatched roof, he explained that the home dates back to the 16th century with a “classic English cottage garden”.
He said in the video that he believes they can “add to its glory” to make the garden “even more delightful” and shared the exciting news that the garden was split into multiple parts that made it appear like “mini-gardens” as he told his followers that he’ll be tending to each one of them. He said in the post: “This is the brand new garden we’ll be transforming over the next year.
“It’s full of hidden corners, character, and untapped potential. From beds and borders to secret little spaces, everything will evolve. We’ll be working on each section step by step across the seasons. So you can follow the full transformation from start to finish.”
He added: “Some changes will be subtle… others completely dramatic. This is just the beginning of something special. Make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss what’s coming next!”
His followers immediately rushed to the comments to share their thoughts on the update as one user said: “Amazing, a really beautiful place, looking forward to seeing more!”
Another wrote: “Will this all be on Instagram? Would love to follow this,” while another said: “Looking forward to seeing you make it more beautiful.” A third added: “Wow what a beautiful garden! Looking forward to following along.”
Alan then added a follow up post and showed people the part of the garden that would be getting a “full makeover”. He added: “Here we’re working on a bed that’s already in place, but no longer doing what it should. It’s in a very visible spot, so it really needs to earn its place in the garden. The goal isn’t to strip it back completely, but to refresh it, keeping its character while giving it more life and structure.
“I’ll take you through how to treat the soil properly, how to shape the planting, and how to create a border that stays interesting across the seasons, not just for a short moment. Something exciting is coming… stay tuned!”
