Thank you and yes the compost has gone up in price, last years it was £3.49 and even a few weeks ago my local Lidl had some for that price plus the more expensive price in a different bag, maybe they were getting rid of last years stock, they had none at all when I went a few days ago.
Hi Gaz, Thanks for the tour of Lidl, here we say Leeduhl, that's French pronounciation.. hahah.. You guys have a really nice choice of plants, ours here aren't as great.. or as many options.. I have saved a few from Lidl, including my peach coloured bougenvilla.. Cheers! Leesa
I am always impressed by LIdl's trees etc. A couple of years ago, I was lucky to come across a lemon tree there. I think it had been left behind in the display, as its new growth was all in purple. Some people do not realise that the purple or silver colouring on other Med. plants., is there to protect the delicate young leaves from the punishing levels of sunshine. I still have that beautiful lemon tree, it produces well – stunning lemons, really fragrant and a nice thick rind. I only brought the tree indoors in January. I have a collection of citrus, some stay in the greenhouse all year (without heat) others spend the worst of the Winter indoors. Citrus thrive here, they are just very different to care for compared to regular plants. The limequat you showed should be even tougher, I had one and the taste was phenomenal, slightly livelier than a regular lime. We had the same apple. pear and plum in our Lidl. Thank you, great coverage and advice for viewers.
Always annoyed that the likes of Lidl, Aldi etc., never water their plants. Once they have been delivered they’re just left to dry out. I’ve seen racks and racks of lovely plant just left to die. Absolutely disgusting, as ultimately it’s the customer who pays the price as the seller factors in the losses due to plants dying when setting the selling price.

I picked up some bulbs today from lidl. They didn't that much in. Maybe due to it being colder up here
I'll head up there later, always wanted a magnolia. 😊
Tesco have 2 x apple trees or fruit trees, the same size for £7 or 2 for £12. Just potting my apple trees up. They have a variety of apple trees too.
2:19 These look great, compared to what i see at my local Aldi 😀
Jokes aside, i need to check my Lidls for those plums. Always wanted a third fruit tree ^^

Hmm wonder if we get these in America 🧡🍊
Stopped shopping at Lidle, the quality seems to less than it once was.
Olive Trees and Magnolias 👀 That's a very good offer I think ..
Love the Lilacs too, a must have classic if one have da space for it.
Remember to plant Your Trees "higher" guys. 👀
Specially Olive, they don't like wet roots and with a time the soil will "settle", sink in a lill.
Make a little tiny mini mountain for them ( a bump ), so they Happy. 🤭💖
All great prices and quality too
Lidl quality is far better than Aldi and cleaner😊
It’s sad to see so many dead plants at supermarkets.
Those are not lemons. They're Limequats. And they were £22.99 at my local Lidl, so I passed.

They’ve got nice fresh young Cannabis plants in the Chessington branch
I was told by the lovely very stoned Dutch manager
Which Lidl is this? Which area?
