i felt obligated to share with a group of people that would appreciate this as much as i do, surreal experience.
i saw many plants on my 6 week journey, orchids being my favorite discoveries for many reasons.
– you find many not in flower, foliage still beautiful, attached to whatever will let it grow on it
– finding one in bloom is extra points
– also extra points if it happened to be fragrant! (many of them were)
what i found interesting is that everyone i had smell the fragrance had very different descriptions of what it was to them!
