Bought some multi purpose compost (mid price range) and it’s all like this inside. I bought it mainly for flower beds but used multi last year for my peas and carrots – is this stuff any good? It’s very thick and compacted in places!

ASDA? It’s just full of filler. I chucked mine on the beds and at the bottom of deep pots in the end
I can’t say much about what it is specifically, but it’s worth knowing that the horticulture industry is experimenting with various alternatives to traditional compost in order to keep the industry sustainable. If you google that you may find some answers 🙂
