I have two old, healthy plants. They're scraping a 13 foot ceiling. I know how to care for them and make them thrive , however i don't know how or where I should cut them because they're out of control. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Those are some great looking plants!

It’s really up to you as to where to cut. I think the idea is to cut a little more than you think so that you won’t have to cut it again for a while.

I’d probably cut it back around where the rope is tied. But again it’s up to you. I imagine the will grow back pretty quickly.

Also, be sure to have some little bits of paper towels on hand to stick on the cut ends to catch the sap or else it can ruin the floor.

Your fiddle was desperately growing to catch up with your high ceiling windows for light.
