Anyone any idea why my seedlings are wilting after transplanting out of the growing cells?

I have tomato and aubergine seedlings. I was very careful not to touch the hairs on the stem, only touching the leaves and using a teaspoon to remove the whole cell worth of soil and transplanting to 7.5cm pots.

The one that seems to be doing ok is an aubergine

Why did you transplant them? They don’t even have their first real leafs yet.

Transplanted far too soon. Also, they’re sat in water.

Shock from transplanting too soon and rot from being in soaking soil in a pot that’s too big for them (the mass of soil holds moisture too long, could’ve rotted just from watering even if they weren’t sitting in water)

I amalgamated the other correct comments and explained the why in case you thought answers conflicted, they don’t, both are correct.
