This rubber fig went from a tiny Walmart rescue to…. ✨THIS✨ And I genuinely don’t know how, because I nearly killed it thrice over lol. She only started thriving when I stopped paying attention to her 😅 But lately her leaves have started curling and drooping a bit, so I’m wondering what I messed up this time.
Current watering and care routine (if you can call it that): When she starts looking dusty and crusty, I drag her into the shower, hose her down, fully soak the soil and let it drain, before dragging her back to her spot about 6ft from a window.
Sooo ya…very scientific over here 😆 Any idea what she’s trying to tell me before I accidentally murk my best plant? 🙈

Definitely needs more light.
My Council tree looks like this (but not as quite as tall). In fact, I air layered the mother and grew its clone. Some of the leaves are just like yours, and I just let them be. Unless they fall off themselves, I don’t want to affect the growth. It’s pretty tall. Before it reaches ceiling height, I’ll prune at the top. As long as the leaves stay green and appear to be thriving, I’d just let it be. I bought the tree on clearance from Walmart for $5.
It needs WAY more light
