  1. Because of you and your videos, I have four different compost piles running that will be getting spread out over my bed shortly

  2. I use deep bedding for goats chickens and rabbits then clean barn around February and mix it up over probably 2500 sqft garden then top it with more mulch. Last year was second time trying that and i had massive yields even with a drought

  3. I have hundreds of rabbits from the park that poop all over my garden when i take down the fencing each fall. I just rake it in each spring when the fencing goes back up. Hey, free is free. 😂

  4. I use topsoil and compost in my raised beds, I also side dress with compost and use some fertilizer. It gets very expensive to buy all these things for the garden. I had great results with just the tomato tone. I did not put it on green beans but it worked on other things.

  5. Hi, I enjoyed your potato myths,… Curious about leaving potatoes in the bed over winter. Will freezing temps not damage the crop?

  6. I also learn to consolidate all my dirt but, i also put kitchen waste into those pots and when it is time, i mix all those pots and mix with some admendments to reuse in to plant in pots.

  7. At 12:16: "Compost depletes its nutrients very quickly." Huh! I thought compost is known for its slow-release properties. Sure, there are different types of compost but, in general, isn't the primary problem compost has is the low level of release?

  8. LUKE, thank you so much for making this make sense. Perfect timing. The best info & I very much needed this. I love when show how to do things. Thank you. God bless & keep you & yours. ❤❤❤😊

  9. Hello! I've also tended to use Mycorrhizal supplements if I don't put in worm castings, or especially if I don't notice any earthworm activity in the bed. I've tended to use the Plantonics brand, which has five different bacterial species. Do you recommend this type of product?

  10. Just did my seedling mix and added Trifecta+ to it as it just came in.. I can't keep my cats away from this stuff! Amazing!

  11. I live within the yellowstone path… i dont need azomite. I can just add some more dirt if I feel like it needs it. Its all in there. We have more issues with alkaline soil and hard water.

  12. Are you saying that those who cannot afford all these amendments are wasting their time growing a garden? Looking for info on how to grow a garden on a very slim budget.

  13. Just ordered. I appreciate you and the mi garderner website. You all really care and keep it all affordable ❤

  14. Can you do one on leaving gardens fallow for the season? Many of us out west are looking at prohibitive watering restrictions

  15. QUESTION: AFTER ADJUSTING THE BED AND I START TO PLANT, DO I STILL ADD TRIFECTA TO EACH PLANT WHEN PLANTING?

  16. Before putting all of my beds and containers to sleep last fall, I added 3-4 inches of compost for each, believing it would decompose over the winter months to contribute to fertility and soil health this spring. Other than for a granular all-purpose fertilizer (Trifecta, OF COURSE!), are there any other amendments I should before planting?

  17. Great advice Luke! I also add azymite, worm castings, humic acids – when I first started my beds, bio-char with the use of core gardening abd Oyas for irrigation and top beds with homemade compost and pine chips to help moisture stay in. Rarely have to water and get huge yields. Wish I could put pictures in the comments of how big my plants get and how large my yields are. As a 2nd year gardener, I harvested over 650 pounds of food from 189 sq ft.😊 Going into year 4 now….don't weigh anymore. I know it works😉
