I’ll be honest… I haven’t done anything with this dragon fruit yet.
No trellis. No pruning. No real attention.
Now I’m thinking about letting it climb one of my palm trees instead… but I want to hear from people who actually grow this.
If you grow dragon fruit, drop your tips below. What should I do next?
Let’s build this the right way together.

I've seen many people grow it up palms. IDK how easy it will be to harvest but I've seen it done. 🤷♀️
I need to get a dragon fruit. But finding space for a trellis that can withstanding hurricane could be a challenge for me.
Just let it grow the will come they look nice and healthy
Thank you for posting this. I am in the same boat.
You really need to start pushing the Yaupon tree or bush it has beneficial properties that are unknown buried by the American British tea and coffee companies. Also I found that the moringa tree will flourish if there's no rain it can be watered twice a week 2 gallons PER tree. Make Heaven on Earth Now. NAMASTE
I have seen people grow them on fences, I cannot get mine to do that here in Melbourne, Fl. Great share, I haven't thought of trying the palm tree.
100% Florida sun and let the rain water it. no need for extra water. mine did amazing until the freezing tundra of this year that took out half off my stuff 😢. I was able to save 10%. I plan on building it back.
