What, just the tent? Or is there a light and other equipment with it? Those setups are not intended for starting seed, but for growing established plants larger. You can still use it for growing seed, just move the light closer (or the plant closer to the light with a stool idk) and put a humidity dome (transparent plastic or glass) over the seed/seedling.
It takes all the variables out. Yeah those started as gardening tools before the drug addicts got ahold of them
That’ll work just fine for starting seeds, it’s basically a mini, lighted, indoor green house.
Your success in starting your seeds will mostly depend on if you’ve properly stratified and stored them, then just follow your normal planting routine to get them established in containers. The tent provides a nice, somewhat stable environment. It’s nice to have, but not wholly necessary of course.
It looks to be in great shape, and if it’s free, I see no reason to turn it down. Could be useful in the future for other projects as well.
