Hi everyone, hoping this is the right place to post this.
I’m purchasing a house and my surveyor has recommended getting an arboricultural survey as trees should ideally be twenty feet from the property due to possible damage to drainage systems and foundations, as well as falling branches.
I’ve attached a couple of photos for reference.
The tree is about 4 meters from the conservatory and more than 5 meters away from the main house.
Is a tree survey necessary here or is my surveyor just being too cautious?
