I received a “chip drop” yesterday and the logs are covered in vines. No poison ivy I can see but I want to confirm these vines won’t cause a reaction. There may actually be a couple different vines growing here, I’m not sure. Notice the round black berries as well.
If anyone can easily ID the species of wood I’d appreciate that too! Thanks Reddit!

Don’t know about the tree but it’s covered in Ivy, possibly English Ivy, Hedra helix.
This is honestly pretty heinous, because if you’re in range for poison ivy they just gave you a whole bunch of seeds for invasive English ivy.
ooof terrible. English ivy is invasive in idk half of the US. and look at all those seeds you got delivered for free! yikes.
The whole back yard (stone wall and some shrubs we had yanked out) was covered in English ivy when we bought the house and I’ve managed to control it since. We really don’t have any trees in our yard so I’m not worried about that, just the potential for a rash.
Am I safe?
You should contact them and tell them to come pick that up. Not only is it not chipped, it’s also full of unusable junk.
