This is my first and only alocasia (nobilis) so please excuse my ignorance.

Is this how a dying leaf normally looks? This plant has gone through a couple repots/lighting changes in the past month since I bought it. Could this be a direct result of that? Should I be worried for the other, much healthier looking leaf?

Came home from work to see it has dripped liquid all over my desk. I just feel bad for the thing

Also any input on whether or not I should cull the dying leaf?

it wants more light, how does the soil looks like?

Worst place for a plant. You shouldn’t keep plants. You can’t understand and process most basic concepts

Seems like noone so far answered your actual question – on some alocasias, yes, that’s what it looks like when leaf dies. I think it’s mostly the ones with red underside? It literally looks rotted and disgusting and then it dies, but that’s totally normal. Frydek for example mostly just yellows out instead of looking like this
