The Crown Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, March 26, in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library. Social time begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the meeting at 10:00 a.m. Guests are always welcome, and there is no cost to attend. Please join us.
This month’s guest speaker will be David Root, a professional floral designer with more than 34 years of experience. He teaches Contemporary Floral Design with Spring Flowers and Contemporary Floral Design: Fall Flowers. His imaginative ideas and unique creations have earned more than 185 awards from New York to California. Combined with extensive study in the art of floristry, Root’s dynamic stage presence has made him a highly sought-after lecturer, demonstrator, and instructor. He has worked with prominent organizations and publications, including UC San Diego, FTD, Flowers Magazine, San Diego Home/Garden Magazine, and many garden clubs throughout Southern California.
