Baldwin County Master Gardeners will host their annual Spring Plant Sale April 9-11 at Weeks Bay in southeast Baldwin County.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at 11401 Hwy. 98, across from Weeks Bay Reserve on the west side of the Weeks Bay Bridge. Admission is free and early access is not allowed. Shopping carts will be available but limited, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own.
The sale will feature a wide selection of shrubs, trees, perennials, herbs and other plants, including many species native to south Alabama. Proceeds support the group’s educational outreach and service projects, including work with schools, community programs and scholarships for college-bound students pursuing horticultural studies.
Baldwin County Master Gardeners is a nonprofit organization of certified gardening enthusiasts dedicated to promoting horticulture and serving the local community. In partnership with the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service, volunteers also staff the statewide Master Gardener Helpline for home gardening questions at (877) 252-4769.
