Hundreds of householders have been trying to get their hands on a garden accessory that could come in handy as we head into the warmer months. Amazon is selling a “heavy duty” garden hose spray gun for £16.13.
The Restmo hose pipe spray gun was previously priced at £19.99. The cost has now reduced by 19%. And it is proving popular among shoppers. More than 1,000 have been bought from Amazon in the past month.
According to the website, the body and trigger are constructed with 100% powder-coated metal material, which is “robust to resist rust, corrosion and wear”. The product description further adds: “It is much stronger, more durable and long-lasting than plastic water nozzles.”
There are seven watering patterns. You can rotate the sprayer head dial to select a pattern from shower, jet, flat, center, cone, full and mist. “Whether you need the high-pressure jet to clean your patio or the soft shower to water your garden, the 7 patterns have you covered,” it says.
“Flow control knob can adjust the watering pressure for each of the 7 spray patterns, which can expand your options when you need to water your garden, lawn, grass, plants, and flower beds. It is also flexible when you clean the patio, wash the car, dog and pet.”
If you want to look at alternative options, this Hozelock Hose spray gun is up for grabs for £32 from B&Q. Or if you are prepared to spend a bit more money, this WORX Hydroshot Cordless Pressure Washer at Argos is a more expensive option at £95. It was £130 but the price has been reduced by £35.
Back to the Restmo hose pipe spray gun, it has been given an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Amazon. A number of shoppers have praised it.
One wrote: “Strong and sturdy. Really well made my second purchase. Connects well no leakage.” Another commented: “Delighted with this purchase. This is total quality. Good design and easy to use.” And a third reviewer added: “Well made. Like a jet wash. Great quality, so far.”
However, not everyone was happy with their purchase. One said: “Not as expected. Yes it’s metal but nothing special about the pressure or the different settings.
“I had a previous one of plastic for £8 that worked better. This item should sale for less. I would say £10.” And one customer posted this message: “This item just leaks!”
