ESCANABA, Mich. (WBUP/WJMN) — Have a green thumb and want to learn about gardening? The 26th annual Bay de Noc Gardening Conference is coming up on April 18.
Participants will be able to choose to attend four classes at this day-long conference at Bay College, which also qualifies for Master Gardener educational credit.
“From beginners to advanced all gardeners,” Warren Schauer the Coordinator of the Bay de Noc Gardening Conference said. “This session also qualifies for those people that are wanting to be Master gardeners. You have to get so many education hours in and this provides education hours for those people to get their certification for being a certified master gardener. But it’s for advanced to beginners.”
Participants must register by Saturday, April 4. It costs $45 per person, which includes refreshments and lunch with the four classes. Brochures to fill out the registration form can be picked up in the Escanaba area at Mel’s Lawn and Garden, Wickert Floral, L&M Fleet Supply, and Pam’s Petals. In the Gladstone Area at Trotter’s Floral, and Gladstone City Hall, and various locations in Marquette.
