In today’s episode, interior designer Cate St Hill invites us inside her Victorian terrace in Southeast London, a light-filled home that balances heritage charm with Scandinavian simplicity. Reimagined from a once rundown property into a calm, connected space, Cate’s renovation embraces natural light, soft textures, and timeless materials to create a sense of ease and flow throughout.
Guided by her love of Japandi design and a belief in living mindfully. Cate layered warm woods, muted greens, and tactile finishes to blur the boundaries between indoors and out. The result is a serene family home that feels grounded and soulful, an urban retreat that celebrates simplicity, craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.

it. wasnt that run down
@theluxuryhomeshow lovely oasis overall.
She says : I wanted to squeeze in all this handy storage and hide away the appliances I don't want to see everyday
And then she says, so I created this lil coffee station because I am obsessed with coffee and have to ..have it first thing in the morning 😢😢
Saya alot about the Designers line (or zig zag) of thought?
Too much green. Let the child have a pink room. Color is very personal, she should live in a room of her color choosing.
I've seen a lot of homes of interior designers and they don't really suit my tastes – all marble kitchen islands and dark blues. I found this home to be much more to my liking (I do like pale greens) and I am about to move into my first home after living in a flat for over 20 years so, with a bit of a budget and a desire to do a bit of joinery I hope to create something serene to relax in. I certainly got a few pointers from this house.
I dont know bro, feels super lonely
I love your story ! yes ! it's so beautiful and charming
Just using adjectives without a care in the world for what they mean.
Please let your daughter have pink walls. Little girls are little for such a brief moment 🥹
Absolutely lovely home.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Has anyone compared Globro with official university websites?
Beautiful calm home.
A gorgeous home. So calm and peaceful. I wonder though is it problematic at times having one bathroom and no extra toilet?
Great example of minimalism and neutrals being interesting and done well. Is it just me or does she look like Naomi Watts' twin?
Yes, although I don't have kids, I think you can be minimal even with little kids. It seems a great opportunity to teach kids to not be spoiled or hoarders. They only know what adults teach them or let them get away with.
Que excelente gusto para decorar una casa tan bonita !! y Que bonito Swter viste usted con muy Buen Gusto Felicidades ㊗️🎉
Too green
Im in with this girl personality and her home just stunning <3
Love your space and how passionate you are explaining it.
Reminds me of Naomi Watts, beautiful home and soothing presentation!
From the thumbnail, I thought this was Blake Lively's home tour.
Loved this
All very grey.
She's in need of a hug.
Could anyone tell me where those beautiful tall stems are from in the dining area space? They are beautiful!
What colour white is that in the living room?
I really enjoyed this home tour. Cate thought of everything. It's a perfect cozy retreat from the surrounding urban space.
Does anyone know her Paint Color for the walls? Thanks
