We compare our Ryobi POWER GARDENING TOOLS! String Trimmer, Leaf Blower, Chainsaw, Lawnmower

We have a new Ryobi Weed Trimmer and Leaf Blower and we are trying them out!

Looks like we’re a Ryobi house now, and we have enough tools to see which ones work best for who:

1. Which String trimmer (weed trimmer, weed whacker) is best between the 18v and 40v?

2. Which Leafblower will take care of the biggest projects?

3. Is the 40v Chainsaw better for cutting and trimming branches vs. the hedge trimmer attachment on our 40v string trimmer?

and finally, we test out the 18v Ryobi lawnmower.

Here’s some background: Four years ago we got a 40v String Trimmer + Leafblower combo from Home Depot and those machines have become an everyday staple of our house. But even though happy little gardener Harrison has been using them steadily since he was THREE, they are still a bit heavy and unweildy at times.

Flash forward to this year, and Dad got a great new Father’s Day present in the form of the 18v version of the combo — https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-String-Trimmer-Edger-and-Blower-Sweeper-Combo-Kit-2-Tools-with-2-0-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-PCLCK201K/327354733 — the original still work, but these will give us not only lighter versions of the tools, but also a second one so two people can be using a string trimmer or leafblower at one time!

Now, those aren’t the only other leafblowers or string trimmers we have, but they are the only other batter-powered ones!

We also have a Ryobi 13″ 18V Mower (the P1104) (see when we got it here: https://youtu.be/9KguX9SvU8I), but that’s the only Ryobi we have so it go its own segment!
