Howdy. As the title says, this was a gift. The soil was pretty moist when I got it mid-February, so I’ve only watered it once so far. Could someone ID this please? Also, what are the hair-like thingamajigs? I appreciate any assistance.

The tiny sad one shriveled up after I watered it, should I have waited longer?? Idk man.

It’s a anacampseros telephiastrum. The hairs are just a part of how these grow. They are called stipules they help to mitigate evopotransperation, trap moisture and protection from the sun.
