Not sure if this picture is helpful but I’ve been doing yard work on an area of the yard that’s been neglected for 10+ years (by previous tenants). The area is covered in shrubs and vines so I’m not sure exactly which plant this came from as it was hanging from a detached brown vine with 5 other empty pods.
It looks like milkweed to me but there’s never been flowers in this area and it’s so shaded that I can’t even get grass to grow..just weeds, wild vines, and poison ivy.
What does everyone think? Located in central Indiana if that helps. If it is milkweed are the seeds still viable? (Not sure how long they’ve been here, but assuming a while since all the other plants are dormant). I was planning on buying milkweed this year so I’ll be very happy to plant these but don’t want to get my hopes up.

Milkweed
A vine in Indiana with that pod and seeds would be Cynanchum laeve, “honeyvine milkweed.”
Not to be annoying or potentially wrong but that does kinda look like Black Swallow Wort to me
