Is this alright to throw in my tumbler? Pee on it first? 😆


I shredded a cardboard box, after peeling all the packing tape and labels off it, and it came out in these little 1.5 inch chunks.

Am I okay to just toss these in my cheap TikTok tumbler for my browns? I guess I could pee on it first?

    I dont pee on mine. But i throw them into my tumbler.
    I use them a lot, i never know how many i can add to my tumbler.

    I put a tray under my tumbler to catch the ‘compost tea’ that drips out after it rains so when i add a bunch of dry browns I can soak them in it or recycle the tea back through the tumbler

    Yes, your pile will love the cardboard pieces, and yes, your pile will also love the pee.

    What can you do with shredded cardboard w pee? without pee?

    Fine as is but sometimes I’ll toss in a bucket with some pee, old coffee, water etc, let it sit a day, then add.

    Shredded like this is awesome. It disappears in my pile so fast when I add it just like that.
