ID? i’ve had this for over a year & lowkey thought it was dead but she treated me with a bloom! also how do i know when to water it? i haven’t done anything to it besides repot when i brought it home

    Looks like lady finger cactus (Mammillaria elongata) to me. Only water when soil is completely dry. That’s a cute bloom 😍, worth a share over at r/cactusbloom!

    Cactus need watering; sounds like you have underwaterd it for quite a while. Especially during the hot months, they need watering when the soil fully dries out. Just like you need water to survive, so does your plant. Also, feed it once in a while with cactus succulent fertilizer.
