Colomb mango is a traditional mango variety suitable for Kerala climate. In this video, I share my experience growing Colomb mango in my garden.
🥭 Key features:
• No fruit fly attack
• Sweet taste with very less fibre
• Best when ripened naturally on the tree
• Fruits fall when fully ripe – most स्वादिष्ट at that stage
• Green colour even when ripe (not attractive for market)
• Not suitable for commercial farming
• Perfect for homestead gardening
This is one of the best mango varieties for home gardens in Kerala if you prefer taste over appearance.
