Looks like the bad one… Not a lady bug, likely an asian lady beetle.

I always remember it by the W on its head. W for Wario, evil Mario. An imposter!

Wouldn’t that depend on where you’re based? 🧐

I also sometimes leave behind an odor/yellow fluid. But I’m not harmful to dogs, I swear

There’s 2 types of bugs. One eats your garden, one eats the bugs that eat your garden. The Japanese Lady Beetle eats other bugs just like their cousin Ladybugs. Yeah they can bite and smell like a stink bug but they are still better than spraying poison on your plants.

They’re not considered invasive anymore. We lost the battle, they established themselves, they’re considered a native species now.

I love them! Except in large groups.

    *Ladybug, ladybug
    Fly away home!
    Your house is on fire
    And your children will burn!*

That’s the rhyme I was taught as a kid anyway. I’m not sure what it means. Lol

Anybody know what i can do to combat asian lady beetles? I see a few in my bathroom every morning and I pinch them in a square of toilet paper and put then in the trashcan. I imagine it will get worse with spring here.
