OSHKOSH – Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods will host its third annual Spring Rally from 9 a.m. to noon April 18 at the Lakeshore Pavilion.
Nationally known gardening expert Melinda Myers will present “Create a Stunning Front Yard and Entryway for All to Enjoy!,” according to a community announcement.
Myers will share tips for enhancing curb appeal, regardless of yard size or budget, and will have her latest book, “Melinda’s Midwest Gardener’s Handbook, 2nd Edition,” available for purchase and signing. Proceeds from the book sales will support community building and curb appeal grants for Oshkosh Neighborhood Associations.
The event will also feature a continental breakfast and an opportunity to interact with local vendors.
Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods is a nonprofit community development organization focused on strengthening neighborhoods by engaging residents, encouraging reinvestment and elevating community pride, according to the announcement.
What to expect at the Spring Rally
The event will start with a continental breakfast and time to visit with local home improvement vendors from 9 to 10 a.m.
Myers will give her presentation, followed by a Q&A session, from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Book sales and signing will take place from 11:15 a.m. to noon.
The event will be held at the Lakeshore Pavilion, 1875 Punhoqua St., and tickets are $25. They can be purchased at gohni.org/events/springrally26/.
