My daughter was able to stop by your parent's nursery yesterday as she drove through Ontario. She loved your "little" town but was surprised how big it was! She called me and said, "Guess where I am?" She knows how much I love Garden Answer! (We live in western Wa) After she perusing the nursery, she found some lovely pansies to bring home for me. (A few special items for herself)
I do have a question about the strawberry plants. Why would you want to dig them up then give them away for someone to replant. Does the re-planting rejuvenate them? I have some strawberries that need attention, wondering if I should dig them up then replant in some fresh soil?
I ordered 2 raised beds on Facebook marketplace and seascape strawberry plants from Johnny’s after watching this video. I am so excited and so are the grandkids! I can’t wait to hopefully grow strawberries this summer! I am a bit worried about squirrels after reading one of the comments above! We have rabbits too…..any suggestions to be proactive??? Or just wait and see….
