After a long winter under snow, it’s finally time to see how the backyard golf course survived. In this video, I uncover the greens, walk the course for the first time this season, and start preparing everything for spring.
The putting greens held up surprisingly well through the winter, but there’s still plenty of work ahead before the course is fully back. I clear snow from the greens, open up tee box areas, and start planning the next builds for the upcoming season.

This channel follows the ongoing project of building and improving a backyard golf course from scratch, including golf green construction, course design, and maintenance throughout the seasons.
Thanks for watching and following the journey. This summer, we are going to get to 18 unique holes.

Greens look good. When you get 18 tee boxes, are you going to post playing a round?
Looking good!!
looks better than ever I just put a little pond next to my little green
Ryan, I am very happy for you that the greens and fairways not only survived but thrived. I look forward to seeing your final layout for the 18 tee boxes. Perhaps you could do a drone flyover and show the viewers each tee box individually. Keep up the great work.
That's all great but I would have done all hybrid Bermuda turf. For putting green and fairway . I think it's way too hard to manage different types of grass. Im doing a chipping green in my backyard. I also do youtube videos. 🏆
This is the course waking up… but here’s how it was built from scratch 👇

Looks fantastic 👌 👍
If you need to melt ice on the greens down the road use some Milorganite or Carbon X to melt some holes in the ice and fracture the ice if it is solid !!
Any plans to add a par 4 tee box ? Loving the content!!
Hello from Australia. Love That you back for another season. So looking forward to seeing the progress over the year.
Why don’t we cover the greens with some sort of tarp or barrier before winter ??
Green looks great, been waiting for this update
Looks so good. Golf season!! Can't wait for the uploads. That back tee box on the front lawn will be amazing, tight shot. What will the yardage be?
