Which one do you prefer more?
1. Boxwood
2. Privet
3. Yew Hedges
Boxwood for the win

Private is the worse thing ever. It's banned here in New Zealand
Yew hedges seem to be the bestβ€
A lot of boxwood smell like cat urine…gross. I pulled mine out because they were by the front door.
None of these are low maintenance….you'll be cutting every 4 weeks during growing season to keep that sharp look
If I cut my boxwood way back and expose the branches, will it fill in again and keep the shape I prefer?
Boxwood…. trimming is easy .. twice a year
Harry Potter lived on Bush Drive????!!! π²
"Rich families"? Really?
Nice work π
Rubbish. Itβs not just the rich. Theyβre shrubs for goodness sake and available all over the place.
Boxwood????? In the UK??????? Its under serious attack here in the UK, with a tiny bug, which drinks the sap, and passes on a virus called Box blight. Some of the most important topiary gardens in the UK, have had to dig the bushes up and burn them. π’
Boxwood smells like pee.
You've obviously never heard of Box Blight
Buxus low maintenance?? lol
When having a hot spring and summer be prepared to shave them 2-3 times. Very weak against Moth's, so be prepared to spend money every summer on chemicals to kill the moth's.
I had these for a few years. I donβt miss the maintenance. They look great for a couple of weeks between trims!
