I have a few small vegetable beds and between travel and parenting duties I wasn't able to water regularly last year.
I want to set up a watering system to automate maintenance. I see there are many models and strategies and it is hard to figure out what works. And commiting the money to buying things and trying it out seems overwhelming cost wise. I am seeking product recommendations that work well on a reasonable budget.
The picture shows my fall operation with cabbage and broccoli along with peppers and peas. In summer I grow chili peppers, tomato, eggplant and cucumbers/melons.

My favorite is drip emitters on a timer. Check out drip works online for information.
