Alongside, days at home are cozy, nights are clear and full of stars, and the northern lights still make occasional appearances, adding quiet magic to the season.

Hello everyone! Happy to see you here. I’m back with a new video, and this time it’s finally about spring. Days are busy here lately, as it’s time to start preparing the garden – so many plans, so much excitement, and a tiny dash of panic 😅 But alongside all the work, the days are also cozy and magical. Nights are full of stars, and sometimes the northern lights make a surprise appearance.

It has been one of the best february-march weathers ever… The slush season lasted about 4 days here in the center of Finland. I was prepared for it, i cycle everywhere and usually march is just horrible, you have to stock up on food, minimizing grocery trips and looked outside one day and all the snow was gone..
But, the second winter will come, it is not over yet… If it is… then i'm worried.

Voit kokeilla suoraan pellolle permakulttuurin perustein tehtyjä viljely penkkejä. Alle pahvia, josta muoviset teipit poistettu. Päälle eloperäistä jätettä: oksia, risuja, ym kompostia, jos on, palanutta lantaa/kanankakkaa ja päälle multaa.
Meillä täällä pohjoisessa on toiminut hyvin. Laitoin lavakaulukset suoraan nurmikolle levitetyn pahvin päälle. 5 vuotta sitten. Viime vuonna lisäsin palanutta kompostia ja multaa.
Rikkaruohot ovat pysyneet hyvin kurissa ja satoa on tullut.

Hienoa kuvaa taas. Eihän näistä voi tulla muuta kuin hyvä mieli. Kasvihuoneelle paras paikka vajan tilalla, vaikka puolivarjoisa paikka olisi ehkä parempi. Tuttavalla oli viime kesän helteillä turhan kuuma kasvihuone.

Olipa hienoja revontulia. Vain kerran näin niitä viime syksynä. Ilmakuvat kyllä kruunaavat nämä videot. Maan tasalta katsottuna ei oikein tajua miltä järven jää näyttää tässä vaiheessa. Hienoa, että tuo peltotilkku kuuluu tonttiin.
Hei Olia. Huomasin että omenapuitasi ei ole leikattu viime vuosina. Kaikki ylös sojottavat " vesiversot pitää katkaista samoin kuin pystyoksat.Vain loivassa kulmassa kasvavat oksat tuottavat kunnolla.Leikatessa pitää kuitenkin säilyttää maltti. Kaikkia hoitoleikkauksia ei saa tehdä samana vuonna kerralla vaan sinun on tehtävä suunnitelma.Leikkaus kannattaa aloittaa nyt maalis/huhtikuussa.Lue vielä leikkausohjeita ennen kuin aloitat ja muista maltti. Sitä innostuu helposti leikkaamaan kerralla liikaa ja silloin puu"villiintyy"❤

I am just happy that it is warmer again and that my heating bill is back at normal levels instead of the ones it was around January and February. Though i got off relatively lightly in all considering that my electricity bill for february was around 210 euros or so which inluded two different apartments. Though for some January and February was pretty brutal if they lived in a larger house with stock based electricity.
