Yellow moss? What am I doing wrong?

Hii! I'm new to this hobby and I'm trying to make a moss bin that I'll eventually use to make my first terrarium, there's sphagnum and pillow moss in there, I bought it dried and soaked it for about 10 minutes, removed access water and put it in there about 2-3 weeks ago, a friend told me that it should have gotten greener by now, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong…

Is it getting too much light? It's about 1.5 feet below my 3000 lumens 6000k shop light, my other plants are thriving, but the moss seems to struggle a lot 💔

Oh and I just realized, there's a little green guy growing (last pic), no idea what it is, maybe yall can help to id?
