Using overly dark colours to consume a big portion of the space with a space already being super small makes it look even smaller.. if you are trying to make a space more comfortable long term, colour choice is very very important.. i think you would have been much better off using darker wood as a replacement to your black furniture and for the walls even a dark brown would still make the space feel a bit more spacious. For fixtures, continuing the copper would have been much more cozy. And with warm tones it would make the space much more comfotable to live in in the long run. Black just makes the space too cold and same goes for the "marble" and makes the place much more lifeless..
It’s sad Australia has come to using shipping containers to house the next generation due to the failures of successive governments. How about halving immigration and banning foreign ownership and see how that goes.
