  1. The extended heat in Colorado has made our fruit trees bloom already . Plums in fullout pink blooms, we don’t normally plant here till late may or early June. Hopefully it will not freeze again over the next couple months hahaha. Great video. God Bless 🇺🇸

  2. Most people live on very small city lots. Most people can not have a tree with scaffolding branches 11-12ft high. They would be harvesting 15-20ft off the ground. I have 50 fruit trees on a quarter acre planted very closely and pruned mostly open center but maintained no taller than i can reach from the ground. Prune hard and dont over think it. Nobody has the amount of land Luke does to grow a full size orchard with full sized trees. Backyard orchard culture is not the same. Luke is pruning correctly for his rare situation.

  3. Question: mice girdled our plum and apple trees the first winter after planting. My husband put 2-3 bridge grafts on each of the trees. The trees lived and now we have branches coming out from the bottom area of the trees too. It’s been about 3 yrs and we are afraid to prune any of it. Are these fruit trees basically done or what? I keep wanting to hack them down and my husband wants to keep waiting.
    LUKE: Any thoughts on this?

  4. I would love a video on organic spray regime for your fruit trees. What and when kind of thing. Also something on peach tree borers. Thx.
