  1. You've inspired me to have an appreciation for "evergreens" and to add some to our garden! Btw, did Benjamin use the Merlin app to identify the geese you have flying over?

  2. Be very careful when using 30% vinegar!!! Wear protection on your hands because it’ll burn your skin !!! It’s so much stronger than “ regular household vinegar “

  3. 6:11 I think the Persephone garden lawn/jellybeans need spring bulbs like the orchard ❤️
11:12 I'm just imagining the formal flower garden done completely in lantana!!!!
I would love to see the fountain with lilypads and goldfish in it 😂

  4. The reason for fat wide bushes instead of tall is because the soil below is too compacted. Sideways is the only way the roots can expand.

  5. Off subject, hardpan near the bins. What if you were to get the tractor in which the large auger and dig some deep big holes. Would that help? Then add a new tree into the area.

  6. Maybe the fountain should have stayed covered until Aaron was done fertilizing? Love those cute little evergreens. How big will they get?

  7. Pennsylvania 6b growing zone. Fall 2025 we put in our landscaping our newly built 30 Box Stall Stabel. It was a lot of work. Anyhow I have a 150 yr old black cast iron water trough that is now a water fountain feature. It also has a horse head hitching post. I'm excited to have it up and running. The landscaping was our biggest project the front and both side's. It's landscaped with many varites of shrubs. But the local pont is the Hydrangeas. 25 on each rounded out side of the landscaping with White multi trunk Birch. Many perinales including ornamental grasss 6 butterfly bushes Red Twig Dogwood and other plants. The walkway from our home to the stable to the Swan Pond has been started. All shrubs trees & perinales are ordered. Plus mass planting of Super petunias the mass planting of the Bubble Gum Super Petunias are being planted on the far side of the Swans pond im planting 150 plants.

  8. I spy with my little eye a Garden Answer pop-up bag. Does it have a hardshell bottom like the Kangaroo bags?? Is it in the testing phase? When will it be available in the GA store? So many questions, so much excitement over this product! haha

  9. Love seeing the garden waking up for spring. That fountain is amazingly beautiful. Have you considered having a mason come in to join the seams to permanently cemented together?

  10. New subscriber this year and I'm loving binge watching all your amazing content! ❓QUESTION: I just purchased the same 2 Henri Studio pots you have in front of the flower shed and I'm wondering if you recommend protecting them with some type of concrete sealer and if so which kind? My pots are not painted or stained, just the natural finish. Also, I have them sitting directly on concrete walkways. Do I need to elevate them somehow or will the walkway surface be ok from the direct contact and constant watering?

  11. I wonder if you could add a gallon of vinegar to the fountain water to go through the pump at the end of the season to clean things out for the next year?

  12. 0:02:43 Wow. I'll never moan about the limescale on my taps again. For one summer, in cold, circulating water, that's brutal! On another note, I'm impressed with how you remember what plants are where even when they are just emerging. I was in my 30'x30' garden today and even though everything is practically on a grid, I still struggled to remember what things were if they didn't have some of last years growth.

  13. Hey Laura! Love your gardening style! How deep are the flower beds in front of the flower shed? We are getting new siding in a couple of weeks and I am thinking of doing some similar landscaping in the front of our house. Thanks!

  14. I wonder if there is something Paul can come up with that covers the big bowl of the fountain when Aaron fertilizes so it stays cleaner longer.

  15. Laura – what I know from my father, if something needs a redesign that makes things easier, but is still pleasing to the eye, it should be done. Every future fountain owner would hail the day something easier to troubleshoot became available. Dream the design and do it.

  16. Can you please tell us what filter you use for your house since you have such hard water? My husband and I thought of purchasing a water softener, but they are so expensive.

  17. I don’t know why you don’t put more dwarf conifers in. Your parents Nursery seemed to have a beautiful selection you were showing us the other day & I was surprised you only wound up with two! The two you planted are very cute & I look forward to seeing them surrounded by flowers in due course.

  18. Question about spraying your fruit trees is it too late to spray them once the buds are out here in the Pacific Northwest Washington side it’s been so wet haven’t really had a good 2448 hrs. to be able to spray my peach tree now that we’re out of freezing temperatures, is it just too late at this point last year we did have some leaf curl on my tree

  19. Dear people. Please donate to Water Aid NOW and support the starving and the thirsty in sun drenched lands. Please help the people of the famines drink fresh water and perhaps they could try and grow food to eat. Please do it now.

  20. I absolutely love you and your family. I even find myself talking to the TV when you’re on. lol. Question: I use concentrated vinegar, also. It spilled over on my shelving once and ate through 3 wood shelves then totally discolored my cement. When you put your finger in it, I cringed. Did it end up hurting your finger?

  21. Just wondering, hav u any lacebark pine or piñon. Some of my favorites are Arizona cypress & alligator juniper. I was wondering if these trees r viable in your area. I’ve put in the potatoes, potted up raspberries till their areas ready. So many seedlings…. I really enjoy yur channel. Really helps remind me to keep on keeping on.
Sprayed the grapes & fruit trees. I hav my daughter to help with things. We hav transitioned to food crops but I did just get 3 grasses for a dry corner. Wish I had your space but I’m truly thankful for all your reminders

  22. Always enjoy & learn from each days' videos. ❤️
Laura said she sometimes reads our comments but I realize her team goes through most of them… what a task!!! I want to affirm how very much I appreciate & thankful for ALL the time you/she takes to move the cameras 📷 around multiple times so we can see so much for each project. Next best thing to being there! I am in awe of the camera angles given when you/she was last helping at the garden center in moving & arranging all those plants, 🪴 plus sharing their names, etc. Thank you muchly! 😊

  23. FOUNTAINS ARE FRUSTRATING! And expensive. The cracks eventually cracked one of my bowls clean in half this winter. Never had solved the splatter issue, it would empty itself in a couple days even with an irrigation tube feeding it 🙄
When you get one that functions, it’s a miracle.

  24. I don't know fountains, but do you think some water softener salts might help? Just brainstorming. Love your channel! ❤
