We planted a salsa pot with all the essentials: tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, and onions – plus a few marigolds 🌼 to help keep pests away and support healthy growth. Everything grows together in one container, making it perfect for patios, small spaces, or anyone just getting started with gardening.

It’s low-maintenance, beginner-friendly, and honestly just really fun to watch it all come together. Plus, there’s nothing more satisfying than saying, “I grew this,” when you’re serving it up.

Would you try a salsa pot this season? 👀

  1. Nice!
Living in the High Desert lizards eat the leaves of the plants.
How can I stop the lizards from eating everything I plant?🌱

  2. I don’t get how marigolds help with pest, every marigold I planted gets eaten by bugs until it dies off after 1 month. None of them lasts. What bug is it repelling?

  3. Can’t stand cilantro The smell or taste I’m one of those people that it tastes and smells like soap to me

  4. Mexican will need two more pepper plants. Non-Mexixans will need more tomatoes.
Your salsa, is red, in tomatoes.
Mexa salsas are a perfect combination of Red (the tomatoes), White (white onions), and Green (the jalapeños), the Tri-Color. 🇲🇽

  5. My tomatoes always grew the cages up out of the ground and then I had to cut them off. I like using the sticks and tie them as they grow.

  6. I’ve grown cherry tomatoes with cilantro & they do well. I then grow jalapeños & chives & green onions together. My potted plants on my upper south facing upper deck do fantastic every year. I have planters for the rail of my deck where every type of herb grows. 🥰🥰🥰

  7. My tomatoes doesn't di well in the pots nor growing bags I'm not sure why. But it thrive in the ground. I stopped growing in the pots and bags
