Complete beginner with very beginner questions:
1. How often do you rotate it? What's the purpose? Not sure I'm overdoing it by using it as my workout every time I put stuff in
2. How often do you water and how much? How moist is "moist enough"? Do you want to drown the bugs in there or just make it moist? I get harsh sunlight where I live in the summer, does that change the watering frequency? Am I overthinking it?
Edit:
3. My bin leaks when I spin it even when I haven't watered in a while? And since it's spinning it flings compost juice around. Is that normal?
Does this not create the compost slurry/compost tea??

Thanks for the video. I bought that tumbler but the screws are so short that the bolts barely secure it. I’m afraid the screws are going to come loose. Did you change your screws?
I have a Sun Joe and haven't gotten usable compost yet. I realize now that I haven't been adding enough water, my first batch looked like dried out horse turds. Also, lots and lots of small flying bugs on both sides. Is this normal?
