Katsura Trunk Chop

I did a heavy trunk chop last Feb on this tree, it exploded with growth last year as it used to be quite large, so I repeated the process this year.

It is coming to life now so I will start cleaning up the cuts as they die back to live nodes.

For context this is ~25L pot and will start reducing it next year to bring the roots in and calm the growth spurts a little.

At some point. I am going to need to ground layer it to remove the graft but for now I will leave it be.
