NEW BOSTON, Texas — The Bowie County Master Gardeners have scheduled their annual plant sale for Saturday, March 28.

Funds raised through the sale benefit BCMG education and outreach efforts, according to a news release.

“Spring is a great time to clean up the plants that you already have and add some new ones to the landscape. There is ALWAYS room for a few more plants in your ornamental plantings or your vegetable garden,” the release said.

The sale will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at noon at Trail Head Park, 200 S. Ellis St. Cash and checks will be accepted, and new this year, BCMG will be able to accept electronic payments,too.

Organizers encourage shoppers to arrive at 8 a.m. for the best selection and something interesting and new to add to their plant collections.
