My tree is about 10 years old now, i let it do as it pleases and it has always seemed to enjoy having two branches. It decided to split in a "Y" shape many years ago and I liked that! But since then it has been happily just growing taller. It's about 11 feet or so tall now.
This week it has decided that it would like one more branch, which was quite a surprise to me! I hardly noticed it at first, but now that i am paying attention, it does seem to be committed to this new growth. I'm excited to see how it will turn out!
