Happy Sunday
Good tips Gary, I planted one indoors as my test for germination time. When I know how long it took to come up I can backtrack from when I want to plant outdoors and they won’t be root bound inside. I roll up 1/2 folded ad flyers around a cooking spray can and tape them into tubes, they make easy deep planters you can put right in the dirt or unroll them too.
I presprouted them per your recommendation and it worked great! no peas sitting for days and days at risk of rotting etc. thank you, you're the best gardening channel on YouTube
Thanks for explaining the pre sprout method!
14:26 wtf?
… all ive got to say is that these seeds had better work…
I pre-sprouted as you recommended and planted outside 2 weeks ago. No popping up yet. Should I start over?
What if their already planted and not sprouted. And how do you stop fungus ?
Gary,
Happy 🙏Sunday! Happy 🌱Spring!

Thanks Gary!
I'm going to try the pre-germination method this year- thanks so much for this video!😊
I was able to get my sugar snap peas to sprout so well this year! 100 percent germination.
We had some warmer temps earlier, and some rain. I soaked them, and put them in my veggie bed with good sun and drainage. They aren't as tall as the ones you presprouted but they are steadily growing.
What about sowing in cells as you showed but rather than putting them under lights – as soon as I see the peas coming through the soil setting them outdoors, under cover, through the day and bringing them in overnight when temp are quite low? I don’t have a sunny window nor grow lights. When would I plant out in the garden?
