This took like 5 years off my life but it was worth it. The paint was really difficult to get off and unfortunately there still are some spots where it just refuses to come off. This is the best I could do

Looks so much better. How did you remove it?

While I applaud the effort, the vendor will continue selling them if people keep buying them. They really couldn’t care less if you spend time scrubbing paint off of them.

It looks so nice like this. I wonder why they paint it and make it look cheap

OP, I am not saying this to be a dick to you, but as a reminder to the general audience- if you stop buying these plants to “rescue” them, eventually they will quit making them! They know damn well it is a cheap and easily propagated plant that is fixable, they are preying on the ignorant and the good hearted. Until we all learn to walk away from these plants, there will always be a market for them!

Great save!! And thanx for sharing the technique. They are so beautiful just how they are naturally! Between this and the damn hot glue flowers ugh😡
