FOND DU LAC – Registration is open for the Fond du Lac Community Gardens, giving residents a chance to grow their own produce, according to a community announcement.

The gardens are at the corner of Grove Street and Pioneer Road.

Those who rent a plot receive access to water, liability insurance and maintenance services. The county mows grass borders to prevent rodent habitats, tills the garden in the fall and early spring as soil conditions allow, and measures, marks and monitors the plots.

Rental fees for the 2026 season are $30 for a 20-foot-by-20-foot plot, $45 for a 20-foot-by-40-foot plot and $75 for a 20-foot-by-80-foot plot.

Registration available online, in person

To register, visit the Fond du Lac County Extension website or go to the Fond du Lac County Extension office on the second floor of the Fond du Lac County Government Center, 160 S. Macy St. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

For more information, contact community garden coordinator Patty Percy at 920-906-4630 or patty.percy@wisc.edu.
