Seek is telling me scotch broom but I’ve never seen them in bushes like this. There are five huge bushes of them in this yard, so if it’s confirmed scotch broom it’ll be full removal as it borders a nature preserve.
Border forsythia (*Forsythia × intermedia*). As far as I’m aware, they’re not known to escape cultivation often, so they shouldn’t be an issue.

As others have already stated they are Forsythia shrubs. In a cultivated setting they don’t really pose an issue but I have seen them escape cultivation occassionally at my work.
Its not an egregious offender but I personally wouldn’t keep any bordering a nature preserve. Although thats mainly because part of my job involves controlling all of the plants constantly escaping from everyone’s yards that back up to our natural areas which is an endless battle.
