Due to the damaging effects of the recent Kona Low storm system, and the forecast for additional severe weather, the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation is suspending permitted camping at all City campgrounds from March 20 – March 26, 2026. All permittees for this camping period will receive a refund within 21 business days.

The continued soggy weather is also resulting in the closure of some outdoor play fields, including those at Patsy T. Mink Central O‘ahu Regional Park. Please contact your park staff to inquire about the condition of fields before leaving for your activity. Stay safe O‘ahu, and mahalo for your understanding.
