Had a lot of wind and green tree falls. Turning this into some road lights. Cheap solar pucks into the logs. Sink them into the side of the road coming in. I wanted to remove bark tung oil or simple oil. Wife was more Smokey the Bear NP look

Are these the kind of solar lights that are on whenever its dark and don’t have on/off switches?? If so, no thanks. Darkness is important.

Yo that’s sick as hell! I love the simplicity but also resourcefulness.

Either cut the tops at a slight angle to shed water, or cut them to a slight cone shape. Burn them with a propane torch like the Japanese style, and then soak in used motor oil.

Do this to the bottoms too, to prevent rot on the section that’s in the dirt.

I would never have outdoor lights on my farm. Theft on farms is skyrocketing. All lights need to be able to be off, only on for the time needed. If the headlights on your vehicle work, why would you need driveway lights?

I highly dislike night time lights that arent at least covered to only shine down. It really messes with wildlife, makes it hard to see stars, ect.

Everyone telling you how they would do it.

If you like it, that’s what matters.

Do you not have headlights on your cars?

I swear my neighbors are afraid of the dark and all their lights ruin the stars.
